As part of the online education of the COVID-19 era, the use of mobile phones and  Internet in children has increased exponentially. It is imperative in this age to create awareness among the children about safe internet usage without falling prey to internet scams. Following this, the Kerala Police have decided to set up Cyber Security Clubs in schools across the state in collaboration with the school authorities and management. As a part of this, the district level inauguration ceremony of Cyber ​​Security Clubs were held on 22.06.2022 at Muhamma AB Vilasam Higer Secondary School to create cyber security awareness among the students in the schools of Alappuzha district.  District Police Chief G Jaidev IPS. inaugurated the function presided over by Principal Mr. Bijo K Kunjariya . Nisha Dayanandan Head Mistress , District Narcotics Cell DYSP Shri. MK Binukumar, Cherthala DYSP TB Vijayan. School Manager Shri. J. Jayalal, Cyber ​​Cell Inspector Shri. MK Rajesh, PTA President Shri. NT Reji, IT Coordinator Smt. Athira Bhadran, Muhamma Sub Inspector Shri. Biju CR also graced the occasion. The coordination and activities of such cyber security clubs across the district will be carried out through cyber cell and student police cadets.
